About NSS
The National Service Scheme (NSS), popularly known as NSS, was launched in 1969 (Gandhi Centenary year) with an aim of developing students' personality through community service. The overall objective of NSS is Education, which is attained through the service of the community.
NSS is a permanent youth program under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India and is funded by the Government of Madhya Pradesh and Government of India in the ratio 5:7.
When our college started its NSS Unit, only a few students showed interest. However, with the passage of time, the unit has grown substantially with a handsome number of students registered as NSS volunteers. Through various departments in the college, numerous programs have been organized, and yearly reports have been submitted to the regulatory authorities.
To build youth with the mind and spirit to serve society and work for the social uplift of the down-trodden masses of our nation as a movement.

The NSS functions with the motto "NOT ME BUT YOU" to inspire youth to serve the people. NSS aims at achieving Education through Community Service and Community Service through Education.
